Exploring South Korea: A Dream Trip to Seoul
South Korea was never on my travel bucket list, but this trip to Seoul exceeded my expectations! From stunning views to unique food experiences and incredible beauty spots, it was an adventure full of surprises. Here’s a roundup of my favorite spots in the city if you’re planning a trip!
Seoul Tower & Lotte Tower: Breathtaking Views
For unbeatable panoramic views of the city, don’t miss N Seoul Tower and Lotte Tower. At the top of N Seoul Tower, you’ll feel like you’re on a ski vacation, ascending via cable cart there’s so much to do once you reach the top with the sprawling cityscape stretching out in every direction.
For an even higher vantage point, Lotte Tower offers an incredible observation deck on the 123rd floor, where you can see Seoul and beyond—perfect for photos! Did I mention its right next door to one of the biggest shopping malls ever.

Savor the Flavors: Artist Bakery & Gaeseong Dumpling House
One of the highlights of any trip is the food, and South Korea is a culinary paradise. I had to check out Artist Bakery, a cute spot known for its fresh, delicious pastries. Their selection of breads and sweets is perfect for a cozy snack break, if you go during winter they also ensure you leave with hand warmers, which I thought was super considerate. Don’t miss their signature cakes milk bun YUM!
If you’re a dumpling lover like me, Gaeseong Dumpling House is an absolute must. Their dumplings are made fresh and packed with flavor. Once you step in, you are transported to small family run restaurant where they make the dumplings right in front of you. It’s the kind of place where you can’t just eat one, I recommend the Dumpling soup and savoury pancakes.

Beauty Treatments in Gangnam
Beauty lovers, Seoul is the place to be! I spent some time in Gangnam, obviously, one of the most fashionable and beauty-conscious neighborhoods, and had an amazing experience with beauty treatments. The spas and skincare treatments here are world-class, and I highly recommend checking out Dr Petit for those interested in facial treatments, the team are so efficient and professional. I also recommend for those looking for hair treatments, color, or just a hair transformation to visit Juno Hair.
Beauty Products: Baviphat & Olive Young
Speaking of beauty, Baviphat is a must-visit for anyone obsessed with skincare. Their products are really affordable and they have a few locations. I bought face masks for $1 so obviously I went crazy.
And of course, no trip to Seoul is complete without stopping by Olive Young, the ultimate beauty store. From skincare to makeup and haircare, they have everything you need and more. I couldn’t resist picking up a few essentials to take home, I highly recommend for those of you who are skincare junkie’s you need the Medicube Age-r Booster pro.

Night Markets at Myeongdong: Shopping & Street Food Galore
Myeongdong is the heart of shopping in Seoul, but it comes alive at night with its bustling night markets. Whether you’re hunting for the latest fashion, indulging in street food (hello, hotteok and egg toast!), or just soaking in the lively atmosphere, Myeongdong’s night markets are an experience you don’t want to miss.

Seoul is truly an amazing city that blends modern beauty with rich tradition. It’s quiet, clean and everyone is so respectful. Whether you’re into sightseeing, food, beauty, or shopping, there’s something here for everyone. If you’re planning a trip, I highly recommend visiting the spots I mentioned—they made my trip unforgettable! ✨
